Lord Jaraxxus is the second boss in the Trial of the Crusader and details of the tactics and strategy used to defeat him are shown below.

Abilities

Fel Fireball - Inflicts 15,113 to 15,887 (25-Players: 24,375 to 25,625) Fire damage and an additional 5,850 to 6,150 (25-Players: 9,263 to 9,737) Fire damage every 1 second for 5 seconds. The cast can be interrupted, and the DoT is magic effect.

Fel Lightning - Inflicts 7,863 to 9,137 (25-Players: 9,713 to 11,287) Fire damage to a random target and jumps to other players nearby, affecting up to 3 (25-Players: 5) targets.

Incinerate Flesh - Absorbs the next 30,000 (25-Players: 60,000) healing done to the target and reduces damage done by 50%. If the spell is not removed by healing, it will cause Burning Inferno. Lasts 12 seconds or until the spell absorbs its healing limit.

Burning Inferno - Inflicts 2,438 to 2,562 (25-Players: 3,900 to 4,100) Fire damage every 1second for 5seconds to all friendly targets. Cast by the target of Incinerate Flesh if the latter is not removed before its duration expires. Incinerate Flesh is removed after absorbing 30,000 (25-Players: 60,000) healing.

Legion Flame - Inflicts 2,925 to 3,075 Fire damage every 1 second for 6 seconds. The target also spawns a Legion Flame every 1 second. Each Legion Flame inflicts another 2,925 to 3,075 Fire damage every 1 second and lasts for 60 seconds.

Infernal Eruption - Summons an Infernal Volcano, which shoots 3-4 Felflame Infernals at players over 15 seconds. Every time an Infernal lands, it causes Infernal Eruption, inflicting 9,263 to 9,737 Fire damage to targets in a 10 yard radius.

Felflame Infernal - Can channel Fel Inferno to inflict 2,500 Fire damage every 1 second for 6 seconds to targets within 15 yards. Can use Fel Streak to charge a target, inflicting 4,388 to 4,612 (25-Players: 6,338 to 6,662) Fire damage to any target on its path.

Nether Portal - Summons a Nether Portal and inflicts 6,825 to 7,175 (25-Players: 9,263 to 9,737) Shadow damage to targets in a 10 yard radius of the portal. The Portal spawns a Mistress of Pain.

Mistress of Pain - Uses Shivan Slash, inflicting 50% weapon damage and ignoring armor. Can also cast Spinning Pain Spike on a random target, inflicting high physical damage based on the target's maximum health.

Nether Power - Increases magic damage done by 20% per application. Jaraxxus will buff himself with 5 (25-Players: 10) stacks of this buff.

Overview
Fel Lightning really doesnt cause much of a problem as long as your raid team spreads out and is aware of their position bunch too tightly together and it will chain to multiple targets increasing the damage done.

Jaraxxus casts Fel Fireball which can hit pretty hard and should be interrupted as often as possible as it applies a DoT on its target, if for some reason it is missed and the DoT gets on a target then it needs to be dispelled as soon as possible else the damage soon stacks up.

Incinerate Flesh eats up healing received by the target, up to it's maximum, basically you need to feed this one healing to make sure it eats up it's total to avoid a massive AoE buff going off and wiping the hell out of your raid. If a raid member does get Burning Inferno they should be spread out anyway and hopefully it shouldnt be too difficult to stay away from the raid team but in range of a healer.

Legion Flame spawns fire underneath it's target which does damage, if you have people that are slow this can cause problems for your healers who are already dealing with a lot of areas of damage. Move quickly and keep on your toes.

Adds
The Mistresses of Pain come from Nether Portals that Lord Jarraxus summons and they need to be off tanked, these need to be killed quickly

Felflame Infernals are summoned from Infernal Volcanoes which are spawned by Jaraxxus. These Infernals have low hp so can and should be killed very quickly otherwise they can ambush one of your raid members with their Fel Streak ability and take them out pretty damn quickly.. Infernals need to be interrupted as they have a fire AoE, they are also stunnable which can help to buy some time for them to be killed.

Boss
Jaraxxus buffs himself with Nether Power it starts at 5 stacks and increases his spell damage. You MUST remove some or all of these stacks of the buff otherwise his damage could be too much for the healers.

Tactic
Have your main tank pull Jaraxxus to the center of the room, your off tank will be tanking the Mistresses of Pain which should be nuked down as soon as they are up (unless your going for the achievement!). It's important to make sure that the tanking position of the adds doesnt cause the Fel Lightning to chain to any other raid members therefore I suggest that the tank takes them to an agreed corner where the dps can nail them asap. Hopefully they should be dead before they even make it all the way to the corner!

We usually assign one or two people to dps and interrupt the Infernals when they start spawning, they have low hp and should be interrupted as before they do their AoE which is channeled. The will turn themselves into a little bolder shape object, pick a target and zoom over to them then reform as an infernal and start their AoE. So if you see one of these boulders heading towards you..... move. They need to be Nuked down.

There should be an interrupt assigned to Jaraxxus throughout the whole fight who will be responsible for stopping the Fel Fireball, if possible make sure they have backup from someone else just in case one gets through. They are to focus purely on interrupts, everything else is a bonus but those fireballs MUST NOT be allowed to happen.

Legion Flame is pretty easy to deal with, if you move around they will drop on the floor where you were standing, you still take some damage but only from one of the fires where as if you stand in the same spot you get all the damage stacking. Your raid healer should be able to keep you topped off through this without too much problem.

Incinerate Flesh will be cast on random members of the raid (but not the MT) and will require a healer to keep healing the target until the debuff is gone, if this isnt done then expect a lot of AoE from that raid member so having a healer assigned to the raid to cover the Incinerate Flesh and Legion Flame is a good idea as well as general raid healing, the tank can normally manage with 1 healer so if you have a team with 3 healers then either have 2 on the raid or have one go dps.

REMINDER: Move out the fire, stay spread out, main DPS focus in this fight are the ADDS, manage the ADDS and keep a steady dps pace on Jaraxxus and you will have this fight in the bag.

Tactic : Short Version.
Jaraxxus - Tanked centralish, adds tanked just off Jaraxxus, move out of flames, nuke adds as priority, interrupt infernals, remove Nether Power from Jaraxxus, lots of raid healing.
1 Healer should be on priority alert for the Incinerate Flesh and heal that up to max and there should be 1 or 2 interrupts assigned to Jaraxxus to stop the Fel Fireball
