Faction Champions Tactics
WotLK Guides - Trial of the Crusader - Strategy Guides
Because you could get different mobs in each reset it’s harder for us to give you a complete guide so below is a table of the classes and names of each mob, you should all know what to expect from these by now, if you don’t, you need to go read up on some classes.
You will face 6 mobs in the 10 man version but 10 in the 25 man version. This fight is considered PvP so the durations of spells and abilities for PvP rules apply

Tactics
The event starts with the Faction Champions jumping down into the arena, they don’t aggro right away so you have time to formulate a strategy and setup marks. Your first port of call is to organise some kind of mob management on the healers, leaving one up as the primary target to burn down asap.
Your first kill and the way the pull executes will be a major factor in determining your success. During the period where you are killing the first healer your raid will be receiving high amounts of damage and will need to be topped off regularly.
There is a general aggro table for all the mobs however at periodic intervals this aggro table is wiped and they can then choose to focus on another player, sometimes teaming up with one of the other Faction Champions in an effort to nuke down one of your team mates.
This fight plays out very similarly to the Magisters Terrace fight and can be very hectic, probably one of my favourite events in the whole game, with some fantastic rewards.
These PvE mobs have a much better AI than those in Magisters Terrace and can react very quickly to current situations.
If the hunters and warlock pets are causing you trouble with interrupting casting then it’s a very quick effort to wipe them out at or near the start.
Tanks should be watching out for healers/clothies in trouble and taunting mobs off them as necessary. None of these mobs hit extremely hard in their own right but as a team they can easily take out any raid member.
Interrupts and any crowd control should be used throughout the entire fight to lockdown as many as possible and raid marking should designate the current kill target.
I wish I could be more specific for this fight but it’s one of those where your dependant on a decent Raid Leader who knows and understands how his various raid members classes work and those members understanding their assignments, raid teams who have a good rapport and experience of running together will find this easier than those newly formed. All I can suggest is that 1 person (the Raid Leader usually) forms the plan and everyone else sticks to it, else you’ll find the night disappears into oblivion while everyone comes up with their own plan and nobody works together.
UPDATES - MORE TIPS AND POINTERS ON THE FACTION CHAMPIONS
If you have the shammy up then it's strongly recommended that you take him/her down as soon as possible, with all of the opposing party members gaining many different advantages from the totems such as Windfury (+20% melee haste), Healing Stream (2-4k ticks), Grounding (1 offensive spell negated), Flametongue (Increased AP and SP) and to top it all off he casts 40-50k lesser healing waves. Take him out and you will notice the difference.
KILL ORDER PRIORITY LIST (Suggestion)
1. Shammy
2. Healers (start with resto druid and take out pally last)
3. Melee DPS (save your clothies)
ASSIGN a designated interrupt on the healer not being nuked, preferably a Rogue or Warrior, dont forget to purge often and there should be purges and interrupts on the Resto Druid as often as is necessary.
Rewards
Lootrank Coliseum 10 man reward list.
