Valiona abilities
Ground Abilities
Blackout: Valiona puts a DoT on a random player. When it is dispelled, or after 15 seconds, it explodes and does massive damage split between the players close to the explosion. It will 1 shot any player that takes the damage alone.
Devouring flame: Valiona casts a very wide (almost 180 degrees in angle) frontal cone attack. It takes about 3 seconds to cast, and Valiona will face a random player when she starts casting it.
Airborne Abilities
Twilight Meteorite: A debuf on random player, that explodes after 6 seconds and does massive damage split between nearby players.
Deep Breath: Valiona shoots a massive line shaped fire AOE on the floor. It will hit 1 of 3 areas in the room.
Theralion Abilities
Ground Abilities
Engulfing Magic: Theralion puts this debuf on a random player for 20 seconds. All damage or healing that player does gets reflected back as damage to all players in a 10 yards radius. That includes over time damage or over time healing that has already been cast by the player previous to receiving the debuf (and is now just ticking).
Fabulous Flames: High damage AOE that in places under a random players feet.
Airborne Abilities
Twilight Blast: A debuf on random player, that explodes after a few seconds for AOE damage.
Dazzling Destruction: Theralion will cast very big void zones on the ground. If you do not get out of them quickly you will die.
Theralion and Valiona Tactics
This is a single tank fight, there will only be 1 boss on the ground actively being tanked at a time. The other will be flying overhead trying their best to kill your raid team.
The bosses swap every 2 minutes and it starts with Valiona.
Theralion Air Phase / Valiona Ground Phase Tactics
During Valiona's ground phase which is Theralions air phase, STAY SPREAD OUT UNTIL SHE CAST BLACKOUT THEN GROUP UP. Think Hokey Cokey, knee's bent arms stretched raa raa raa! She also does Devouring Flames, it has a mssive range and will take up about half the area, get out the way, it has a cast time but you should be ready for it, otherwise your toast.
Theralion will cast Twilight Blast on a target which will do 20k to everyone within 8 yards, stay spread out unless grouping up for Blackout from Valiona. It's healable.
Theralion will cast DAZZLING DESTRUCTION TOWARDS THE END OF HIS AIR PHASE, VOID ZONES SPAWN, DONT STAND IN THEM. (Honestly....)
Valiona Air Phase / Theralion Ground Phase Tactics
Valiona will be targeting random people with Meteor, which puts a purple arrow over the targets head, signaling everyone to group up on them so thatthe damage can be shared and people won’t die.
During this time Theralion will cast Engulfing Magic on random people, so they need to move away from the group as to not cause extra unnecessary damage. Every so often Theralion will cast Twilight flames on a random person, making a decent sized void zone around them.
The damage isn’t too great but it’s recommended to mark someone for everyone to follow so any meteors that land during the position change won’t cause deaths.
After about 120 seconds, Valiona will start casting Deep Breath, 3 in total, on the different sections like a fly by. Make sure you move to a safe section and have someone announcing where the breath will be in advance for the slow people. After 3 breaths, Valiona will land and Theralion will take off again. Rinse and repeat this until they die
Cheer, Loot and progress!
Good luck out there,
Cyb.
