Patch 3.3 Raid Quests
The Weekly Raid Quest - Patch 3.3
Looking at some more information today folks and I've been reading with interest on the stuff relating to the availability of quests that relate to raid content, apparently there will be a weekly quest available for people to pick up after each reset that will involve targeting and killing a certain boss in a certain raid instance. I have no details about what the rewards might be but I suspect they will be badge/emblem related like the daily normal and heroic dungeon quests. Here's the little bit of blurb that I've picked up."Weekly raid quests are now available from Archmage Lan'dalock in Dalaran. Every Tuesday at 3 AM the Council of Six will choose a different strategic target that must die from either: The Obsidian Sanctum, Naxxramas, The Eye of Eternity, Ulduar, Trial of the Crusader, or Icecrown Citadel."
So is this part of their efforts to reward guild progress? Well I cant really see it being that successfully, so far all of the raiding in this expansion is available to pug groups and can be completed by them fairly easily. While it's not in the first few weeks of the content being released it does happen, as more and more players learn the tactics for the raid more pugs start to form and clear the latest areas.
Does anyone have any ideas on the rewards that could be offered?, if they think this will promote raiding older content? or how this will benefit a guild versus pug player? This could be quite exciting as a RL, maybe a new weekly event on our calendar for laughs and giggles :)
