This weeks episode is going to be an introduction to the Addons you should have, the picture below you can see my UI (fully custom and messy as hell) BUT including the must have addons for rogues.
Firstly the must have addons from the middle!
The actionbars are bartender, not a musthave but it helps a lot with keybinds (all my keybinds are on hidden bars)
The pretty arcs are icehud, this or another similar addon is a must.
The buffbar, again isnt crucial but helps a lot, is Elkano's buff bars, some use katrina's.
The minimap is chinchilla, not a must have but helps with the positioning of the buffbars.
The chat is prat, allows you to copy+paste from chat and generally helps out with your chatting.
The red box is recount, you have to have recount or skada or another damage meter, if you're not in the top half of the raid, your probably not pulling your weight.
The thing that looks like a filing cabnet (or a floppy disk, no idea what it is, just above the chat frame on the right) is minimap buttonbag, this takes all the little buttons around you minimap an puts them into a bag.

The final addon that you cant see at the moment is ratingbuster, it shows all those "45 crit rating and 25 agility" as "X attack power and X% crit" helps with split second raid upgrades that you were'nt expecting, it's no replacement for a spreadsheet but they're for another day.
If I explained all the features of all the addons I would probably end up writing a book, so ill just do a quick list of why the essentials are essential.
Icehud- it allows you to add timers that watches buffs for you, you have to keep track of HfB as muti or SnD as combat, either way its very useful, it shows SnDs current duration, and potential duration with however many combo points you have on the target.
Buffbars-allows you to blacklist (and whitelist) your buffs, it just cleans things up a bit so you're not going "amg, wheres envenom....no thats spirit, why the hell do i have spirit?"
Recount-So you know if you're pulling your weight, dont get me wrong, you dont want to be staring at it, but having some competition and knowing the raid isnt carrying you can help you do more, or make raiding more enjoyable. Who wants to be carried through ICC...
Ratingbuster-if a drop you havn't seen before, or havn't modled it on a spreadsheet (again I will discuss spreadsheets another day) you can quickly go "ooh thats a lot better than what i have" or "I lose X crit for X haste"
Prat-not a musthave but if you need to copy and paste a link (like to this blog =D) you can do that ingame without saying "send that over vent...."
